To be honest, I have always been interrogative about Meditation. Even though my cousin #lesvoyagesdetaya is practicing it and leading meditation classes, I’ve never felt it was accessible to me.

In the YTT, there is a full day around Meditation and it so lighted it all up. Actually meditation can be many thing and we can all do it easily.

Meditation is an approach to train the mind, as fitness is to train the body.

The main idea is being instead of doing. This can also defined as the mindfulness of the now.

The course lead gave us many tools and practices to find what is resonating the most with us. But one really impacted me.

We have been taking a meditative walk into the nearby park; all 30 of us walking mindfully looking down and then stopping after 20 steps, raising the gaze and just being conscious the surroundings. Without any notice tears came up!

I can not define if it was the beauty of the moment, the simplicity of the exercise or just taking a real mind break but at this moment all entered into perspective.

I will definitely try to create a daily practice. Starting small with a 5mn meditation habit though!
