I’m lucky enough to have friends happy to be my 'guinea- pigs' students as I’m trying my teaching skills. It feels wired to be honest, to stand in front of friends or colleagues and lead a yoga class. I’m more than happy to do it but as it all brand new, it feels like playing a role.


In order for my 'students' to see me as a Yoga teacher, they feel that they are in good hands. This is where the Introduction scrip plays its so important role. As aYoga teacher, you only have 2 to 3 minutes to create this trust space, by saying few words. Students should be able to find what they need in them to be able to release.


Come to a cross-legged comfortable seated position. Close your eyes and breath here through your nose in order for your mind to arrive gently on your mat.’


‘If you have any injury you would like to share with me, please raise your hand and I will come to discuss.’


‘Please be mindful of your body. Only you can feel what your body needs today. It can be more or less than yesterday.’


‘At any time during this 60 minutes practice, you can take Child pose or rest in whichever posture you want.’


‘This is your practice, so make the most of it with what you have.’
