Teaching Practice II

This Sunday, we have been challenging our newly learnt teaching skills! We had 30 minutes to go through the introduction, Sun Salutations A and B, and finishing sequence up to Savasana.
Surprisingly, as we were friendly observed by our lead course teacher Jon for the first time, I did not felt any stressed. It felt like I knew what I was doing, really being at the right place from the start up to the last Namaste.
Of course I kept doing mistakes like confusing ‘right’ and ´left’, saying banned-words such as ‘just’ or ‘relax’... but overall, it felt like my practice was "fluid" and this comes from my guinea-pig (a fabulous German student).
Learning is good, but practicing is all. And it's easy to practice what you love, as it just flows if you got the confidence is yourself.
I’m feeling proud right now. The rush of confidence and happiness felt after this teaching class will drive with me for the 2 next weeks, up to the next YTT time on the mat.
This perception becomes my number 1 benefit about a YTT!
