This Tuesday, I got up at 6 to dedicate enough time to my morning yoga practice before work. My mat on the floor, I started by seating in a confortable position, and practiced breathing exercises - Pranayama. So far so good.
I then moved to an ‘all-fours‘ to start introduicing some movements with couples of ‘cat-cows’. This is when pain begun. It felt like my lower back is stuck into a straight, fixed, position.
I decided not to do anything more, fearing to hurt myself, and stopped my practice there. Indeed, few minutes later while walking to the station, I hurt my right quad muscle.
YTT week-ends are exhaustive and my body starts manifesting some tiredness. We are not sport champions, but our body is a key part of our activity.
We all need to be careful and listen to our body before it is too late.
